THE DAVID SHELDRICK WILDLIFE TRUST

Be the end of elephant and rhino poaching.

For the inaugural Give Infinity ∞ Charity Program partnership in 2016, Forever Shangri-La has chosen to partner with the DSWT who are pioneers in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of orphaned baby elephants.

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was founded in 1977 by Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick D.B.E, in honour of the memory of her late husband, famous naturalist and founding Warden of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya, David Leslie William Sheldrick MBE. Today, DSWT is the most successful orphan-elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world and one of the pioneering conservation organizations for wildlife and habitat protection in East Africa.

At the heart of the DSWT’s conservation activities is the Orphans’ Project, which has achieved world-wide acclaim through its hugely successful elephant and rhino rescue and rehabilitation program. The Orphans’ Project exists to offer hope for the future of Kenya’s threatened elephant and rhino populations as they struggle against the threat of poaching for their ivory and horn, and the loss of habitat due to human population pressures and conflict, deforestation and drought.

GIVE INFINITY ∞

Through the Give Infinity ∞ Program, we direct 8% of our profit towards helping the planet and its inhabitants maintain a diverse vibrance.
Often, it is only once people feel a beautiful balance internally with their planet externally, that they begin to find space and energy to pursue mindful and intentional lives.
